Mental Health Therapist and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction™ Teacher
I offer compassionate, holistic mental health and wellness care to adults who are struggling with challenges like anxiety, depression, emotional overeating, stress, and chronic pain. I use Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Compassion-Focused Therapy in my practice. I also teach Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction™ (MBSR) classes and offer workshops and retreats on mindful living.
I received my undergraduate degree at Iowa State University and my master's degree in social work at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. I completed my MBSR™ teacher qualifications at University of California San Diego Medical School's Center for Mindfulness and participated in 65 hours of additional MBSR™ training with Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D.
