Jessica DeBoom, MA, NCC, LMHC
Mental Health Therapist
My goal is to help you live a rich, full, meaningful life. I do this by creating a compassionate, non-judgmental, and supportive space where I will assist you in exploring your current challenges and goals, help you clarify what is truly important to you, and provide support and tools to help you work toward the life you most want to live.
I work with adults and adolescents (age 16+), and have experience treating trauma, anxiety, depression, anger issues, stress, grief/loss, relationship issues, and family conflict. I use an integrated approach, creating a tailored plan based on my client's goals and individual strengths/challenges. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), have completed extensive training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and also incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques into my practice. I received my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Iowa and am a National Certified Counselor.
