I offer compassionate, holistic mental health and wellness care to adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, perfectionism, relationship issues, and binge eating disorder.  I also work with individuals before and after they’ve had bariatric surgery.

I use Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Compassion-Focused Therapy in my practice. I lead mindfulness, self-compassion, and emotional eating therapy groups.  I also teach Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction™ (MBSR) classes and offer workshops and retreats on mindful living.

I received my undergraduate degree at Iowa State University and my master’s degree in social work at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. I completed my MBSR™ teacher qualifications at University of California San Diego Medical School’s Center for Mindfulness and participated in 65 hours of additional MBSR™ training with Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D.

I accept most Wellmark and out of state Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance plans and HealthPartners. My self pay rate is $185 for your first appointment and $160 after that.
