Life is not a binary experience. We all have different parts of ourselves that provide unique perspectives and sensations around our experiences in relationships, self worth, and identity. This can be very confusing and overwhelming to try and decipher on your own, especially if there are conflicting desires or feelings (ie: part of me wants this, while another part of me wants that).
My intention is to provide non-judgmental support and guidance, so that you feel heard and understood as you build compassionate self-awareness to reach your goals. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma related disorders, relational issues and grief. Other issues that could be addressed in our work together may include: life changes, stress, self criticism, perfectionism, current social issues, and religious trauma.
I have completed training in several therapy modalities including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, Trauma Informed Care with brain based interventions, as well as Mindfulness and Self-Compassion. I see adolescents and adults for individual therapy. I have a special interest in providing services to women and to people who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
My undergraduate degree is in Social Work from the University of Iowa and my Master’s degree is in Social Work from the University of Southern California.
I am currently scheduling clients on Mondays. I’m available for in person and telehealth sessions. I accept Wellmark and out of state Blue Cross Blue Shield plans and Health Partners. My self pay rate is $185 for your first appointment and $160 after that.
If you’d like to schedule a therapy session, or have questions about any services I offer, please use the form on this page to contact me.
